Urgent Humanitarian Crisis

According to UNHCR, escalating violence in North Kivu and South Kivu has significantly worsened the humanitarian situation, displacing over 700,000 people in recent weeks. The humanitarian crisis in Goma has reached alarming levels, with food supplies running dangerously low, hospitals overwhelmed, and thousands stranded without access to aid. Refugee Pathways & Integration Canada (RefPIC) is actively responding with urgent life-saving aid and is seeking support to sustain its humanitarian activities.

🔹 Food & Water Crisis: The World Food Programme (WFP) has warned that food supplies are nearly depleted, with water and electricity outages worsening the crisis.

🔹 Overwhelmed Hospitals: Medical facilities in Goma and Bukavu are struggling to treat over 2,000 injuries, many from gunshot wounds. Severe shortages of medical supplies, fuel, and staff are impeding emergency response.

🔹 Growing Health Risks: Health authorities warn of disease outbreaks such as cholera, measles, and mpox due to mass displacement, unsafe water sources, and inadequate sanitation.

Your donation today will provide emergency relief, food, medical aid, and shelter for displaced families facing extreme hardship.
